Team Accounts

A team account puts several people under one subscription with one bill. It suits agencies and in-house teams where more than one person launches ads.

Owners and Members

The team owner is the person who bought the team plan. The owner:

• invites and removes members,
• manages seats and billing,
• sees the Team page under Account > Team (only owners see this menu item).

Team members:

• get access to all Ads Uploader features,
• log in with their own email and connect their own Facebook profile,
• cannot see billing. Account > Billing shows "Billing Access Restricted" and the owner's email instead.

How Seats Are Counted

Your plan has a set number of seats. These all use a seat:

• the owner,
• every active member,
• every pending invite that has not expired yet.

The Invite Team Member section shows how many seats you have left ("N seats remaining"). When there are none left, it says your team is at full capacity and you need to upgrade your plan to invite more people.

Invite a Member

1. Go to Account > Team.
2. Under Invite Team Member, enter the person's email address.
3. Click Invite.

The person receives an email invitation. The invite shows as pending in the Team Members list until they accept it.

• Invites expire after 7 days. An expired invite no longer holds a seat.
• Resend sends the invitation email again, for example if it went to spam.
• Cancel withdraws the invite and frees its seat.

Remove a Member

In the Team Members list, click Remove next to the person, then confirm with Yes, Remove Member. Their access through your team ends and the seat is free for someone else. This cannot be undone, but you can invite them again later.

Change the Number of Seats

Seats are managed through billing. Team plans run from 2 to 20 seats; see Billing for prices. The billing portal handles the charges when you change seats.

When Seats Go Down

If you reduce your seats below the number of people on the team:

1. All pending invites are cancelled.
2. The members who joined most recently are locked until the team fits the new seat count. The owner is never locked.
3. Locked members are not removed. They show as locked in the Team Members list and cannot use Ads Uploader.
4. If you add seats back later, locked members are unlocked automatically.

While any member is locked, you cannot send new invites. Remove members or add seats first.

Downgrade from Team to Individual

Switching from a team plan to an individual plan disbands the team:

• Pending invites are cancelled.
• Members lose access through your team. A member who has their own individual subscription keeps it; everyone else loses access until they subscribe themselves.
• There is no way to restore a disbanded team. If you need a team again, buy a new team plan and send new invites.

Think carefully before downgrading.
