Troubleshooting XLSX Configuration

Common issues and solutions when using the XLSX configuration method for ad creation.

Import Timeout

Issue: Import seems to hang or timeout in Meta Ads Manager

Solution:

1. Refresh browser (F5 or Cmd+R)
2. Check campaign list - often already imported
3. This is a known Meta Ads Manager bug

Import Errors

"Invalid Column"

Issue: Error message about invalid column during import

Solution:

• Remove the problematic column from XLSX
• Re-export from a different ad

Wrong Account

Issue: Ads imported to wrong account or campaign not found

Solution:

• Verify you're uploading to the same account you exported from
• Check the account selector in Ads Uploader matches your export source
• If using a different account, choose "Create New Campaign" option

File Format Issues

Issue: Excel file won't upload or is rejected

Solution:

• Ensure file is .xlsx format (not .xls or .csv)
• Check file size is under 10MB
• Verify the file isn't corrupted - try opening in Excel
