Billing

Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, on the same date as your original purchase.

  • Subscribed January 15th → Billed on the 15th each month (or annually)
  • Subscribed January 31st → Billed on the last day of each month (or annually)

Annual Billing

Annual billing is available for individual plans only - get 12 months for $528/year instead of $708 ($59/month × 12).

Annual plans are not available for team accounts. Teams often need to add or remove seats as projects change, and monthly billing provides the flexibility to scale up or down without being locked in for a year.

Cancelling

What you need to do depends on whether you're on the free trial or a paid plan:

  • On the free trial: there is nothing to cancel. The trial takes no card details and charges nothing, so no subscription is active. It simply expires on its own at the end of the trial period. This is also why you won't see a cancel button - the screen showing plans is the pricing/upgrade page, not a billing portal.
  • On a paid plan: a cancel option appears once you're subscribed. Manage it yourself from the billing portal (the same place you change plans or update payment details) - you don't need to contact anyone.

Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrades

When upgrading (e.g., individual to team, or adding seats):

  • Changes take effect immediately
  • You're charged pro-rata for the remaining days in your cycle
  • Full upgraded price applies on your next billing date

Downgrades

When downgrading:

  • Changes take effect immediately

Warning: Downgrading from team to individual immediately disbands the team.
