Flexible Ads
Combine 2-10 images and/or videos into a single ad container. Meta automatically selects whether to show each user a single image, video, or carousel.
Accessing the Builder
After uploading media, the Build Flexible Ads button appears in the toolbar above the uploaded media table. This is the default builder shown in the toolbar.
To switch to the Carousel Ads builder, click the dropdown arrow next to the button and select Build Carousel Ads.
How It Works
Upload media to your library, then use the Flexible Ads builder to group assets into containers. Each container becomes a single ad that Meta optimizes for format delivery.

Building Flexible Ads
- Click "Flexible Ads" in the Uploader toolbar
- Select media from the left panel
- Drag to slots in the right panel (or use auto-group)
- Click "Create" when group has 2-10 assets

Group Slots
Each group displays as a row with 10 slots:
- Filled slots show thumbnails
- Empty slots accept new media
- Minimum 2 slots required
- Drag to reorder within group

Auto-Grouping
Distribute media across multiple groups automatically instead of dragging one at a time.
- Select media in the left panel
- Click "Auto Group"
- Configure options and apply

After Creation
Created Flexible Ads appear in your library with:
- FA badge indicating container type
- 2x2 grid thumbnail of first 4 assets
- Asset count (2-10)
Using in Ad Creation
Select Flexible Ads in media selection like regular images and videos. Text configuration applies to the entire container.
